HOST TEAM - PRINCE COUNTY WARRIORS
The Prince County Warriors are both honored and excited to be the host team for the U15 Atlantic Championship in O'Leary, PEI from March 30th - April 2nd.

The Warriors had a great season in the PEI/NB U15 AAA League, finishing with a 20-9-2 record. They finished runners-up, in a hard-fought best-of-5 series (3-1), in the Provincial Finals.

In November, they finished in the top 16 of the Monctonian, and in January at Ice Jam, finishing in the quarter-finals. Both times losing out to tournament favorites, The Gulls.

The team plays out of the host site, O'Leary Cavendish Farms Arena and is coached by Darcy Ashley. His assistants are Logan Smallman, Evan Millman, Bernard Cheverie, Jeff Duggan, and Luke Oliver.

The Warriors are constructed from players in the Prince County area. There are 13 from Summerside and the surrounding area, and 5 from West Prince. The lone exception is Goaltender, Matthew Rooney who hails from Sherwood. 14 players in the group are second-year and 5 are rookies. Eight of them, are returning players.

The Warriors are led by scoring champ and MVP, Ayden MacKay. Joining him are a strong complement of hard-working and skilled forwards, aggressive defencemen, and solid goaltending. When this team is firing on all cylinders, they are a tough group to play against!

The Prince County Warriors hope that everyone enjoys their time on PEI and look forward to the challenge of competing against the best U15 teams, the region has to offer.

See you at the rink!
